BASEIQ products give you the chance to make RC model more precise in handling as well as more reliable!

Many car kits include plastic shims as standard, which are easily deformed and changed in their height. By this deformation and wear of the soft plastics (for example when used at suspension arms) there will be excessive free play which causes bad handling of your model.

Alloy shims will help to reduce, or let’s say fully eliminate, the free play. The result is a more stable car with improved handling that allows higher corner-speed.

In competition models are Alloy Shims the state of the art!
Shims in different thickness are used to change the setup of the car, as for example the wheelbase of the roll center. It’s useful to keep different height shims in your RC Bag, to adjust your car to the given track conditions.

The BASEIQ Alloy shims are machined from high grade alloy material, and available in different colors.
